Women Directors Program

TOPIC : ENHANCING BOARD LEADERSHIP Women Directorship Programme (WDP) is an exclusive programme conducted by one of Miweps partner’s LEAD WOMEN to aspire and encourage Professional Entrepreneurs & business women to seat as Board of Directors. In ensuring government’s policy of 30% of board of directors composition are consist of Women.

The event was held from 12th to 14th September 2017, at Connexion, Bangsar South. Participants were equipped with good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the board and the directors , securities market, corporate governance, board dynamic and placement and preparation to be seated as a director.

To-date Miweps have sent 6 professional women to attend WDP programme.
